The Mariners bats stayed hot in Chicago this afternoon, as they had 12 hits, including 3 more home runs beating the White Sox 12-5. Seattle has now hit 27 home runs, drew 50 walks, and scored 85 runs this season. Daniel Vogelbach continued his hot play, going 2/3 with a double, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. Not to be out done, Edwin Encarnacion had a great game as well, going 3/5 with a home run and 4 RBIs. Starting pitcher Wade LeBlanc had a solid outing, going 6 full innings allowing 6 hits and only 2 earned runs. The Mariners are now 9-2 on the year, up next they head to Kansas City for a 4-game series with the Royals starting Monday night.

Game highlights:

Edwin Encarnacion got an RBI single in the 3rd inning to extend the Mariner lead to 3-1.

Later in the inning, Daniel Vogelbach had a 3 RBI double to deep center field.

Encarnacion continued his hot day, with a 2-run home run in the 4th inning.

Vogelbach followed that up with a 2-run home run of his own in the 5th inning.

Seattle cruised to victory from there. Final call, Mariners win 12-5.
