VIDEO: Jusuf Nurkic, Zach Collins “Look Great” as Blazers Return to Practice
Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum and Terry Stotts all liked what they saw out of Jusuf Nurkic and Zach Collins after Saturday’s practice.
“They look great. I mean both guys play really physical. Play well in the paint. You know, they didn’t seem concerned with anything. They looked really comfortable,” Lillard said. “That’s a great thing for our team.”

“They both looked like the way we remembered them, I told Nurk that. He’s the Nurk that I remember playing, at both ends of the floor. He made some really good passes, good rebounds,” Stotts said. “Zach was full of energy. You couldn’t tell that either one of them had missed any amount of time. It was very encouraging.”

“I think everybody had a great time, we enjoyed it,” McCollum said. “Everybody came back in good shape, really took care of themselves over the course of our little break. I’m looking forward to seeing how we progress up until the 22nd [when the team has their first scrimmage] and then up until our first game.”

Portland’s first game is July 31 against Memphis on NBATV at 1 p.m. PT. The Blazers trail the Grizzlies by three games for the No. 8 seed out West.
