Trail Blazers re-sign Jerami Grant for 5 years $160 Million per reports

Free-agency is underway and the Portland Trail Blazers have successfully kept one of their own.

Forward Jerami Grant has agreed to a new deal with the Trail Blazers for 5 years and $160 Million, per multiple reports.

Grant played in  63 games for the Trail Blazers last season, his first in Portland after being traded by Detroit last summer. He averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks a game in 2022-23. He shot 40.1 % from three-point range, averaging 2.3 made threes a game.

The 29-year-old Grant was a second-round pick of the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2014 NBA Draft out of Syracuse.

For his nine-year career, Grant has averaged 12.3 points a game and shot 35.8% from three-point range.
