Ducks Add Villanova Guard TJ Bamba To Roster

The Oregon Ducks basketball team is capitalizing on the momentum they built this past March.

Today one of the top guards in the transfer portal has chosen Oregon over the likes of Kentucky and Memphis. TJ Bamba, a 6’5 guard who averaged 10.1 points per game and shot 37% from three last year for Villanova has committed to the Ducks.

Bamba comes to Eugene after a year at Villanova. Before Nova, Bamba played for Washington State where he averaged 15.8 points per game in his final year for the Cougars. Bamba is one of the top shooters in the nation and will instantly help the Ducks.

The Ducks have added three really good players in the portal. The Ducks also added former Stanford forward Brandon Angel who averaged 13 points per game a season ago and Ra’Heim Moss a 6’4″ guard from Toledo who averaged 15.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3 assists per game for the Rockets.

Oregon had their Big 10 opponents announced earlier this week, and now the roster for the Ducks seems like it could almost be finalized.
