Shaedon Sharpe withdraws from NBA Dunk Contest

Some disappointing news for Trail Blazers fans – high-flying rookie Shaedon Sharpe has pulled out of the Slam Dunk Contest at NBA All-Star Weekend:

Portland's high-flying rookie Shaedon Sharpe has dropped out of the Dunk Contest in order to focus on second half of Trail Blazers' season, sources said.

Sharpe was recently not selected for the NBA Rising Stars event, so it makes sense that he not travel to All-Star weekend solely for the dunk contest.
