Sabrina Ionescu Goes Off, Sets All-Time NBA/WNBA Record To Win 3-Point Contest

By 750 The Game Staff
She simply could not miss.
Well, technically she missed twice. But that’s it.
Former Oregon Ducks star Sabrina Ionescu dazzled the basketball world Friday with a record-setting performance to win the WNBA 3-pt contest at Michelob ULTRA arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
Ionescu made 25 of her 27 three-pointers, totaling 37 points, to win the contest and set an all-time WNBA and NBA record in the contest.
“I was just focused on making one a time,” Ionescu told ESPN’s Holly Rowe after her victory. “I wasn’t sure how many I’d miss, but I knew it wasn’t a lot.
“I’m happy to have won this and I’m thankful for the crowd, they were cheering me on the entire time.”
