Oregon State’s Jordan Pope Named College Player Of The Week

When you average 25 points, 5.5 assists, and 2 rebounds per game while also taking down a top 10 team. You are going to get a lot of recognition. That’s exactly what is happening for Oregon State guard Jordan Pope.

Pope had those averages while Oregon State swept the Arizona school this week which led to Pope to be named Naismith men’s college basketball player of the week.

The Beavers defeated Arizona where Pope scored 31 points including the game winning basket at the buzzer with the game tied.

 Against Arizona State Pope scored 19 points and had 6 assists in the Beavers 84-71 win.
