Oregon State-Utah Headlines Week 5 Pac-12 Kickoff Times/TV Schedules

By 750 The Game Staff

The kickoff that was released all the way back on May 31st remains the best matchup of Pac-12 contenders in Week 5, as start times and television details were released on Monday.

On Friday, Sept. 29, Oregon State hosts Utah in Reser Stadium. The game has a 6:00 p.m. start time, televised on Fox Sports 1.

The Beavers are currently No. 14 in the AP Poll ahead of this week’s conference-opening test at No. 21 Washington State (4:00 p.m., FOX). OSU is coming off a 26-9 home win over San Diego State to start the season 3-0.

Utah — also 3-0 with Power-5 wins over Florida at home and Baylor on the road — is currently  No. 11 in the AP Poll. They dispatched Weber State 31-7 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Week 3 and open Pac-12 play this weekend hosting Chip Kelly and the No. 22 UCLA Bruins (12:30 p.m., FOX).

Last time Oregon State hosted Utah, the Beavers won 42-34 on Oct. 23, 2021, to get to 5-2 overall on their way to qualifying for first bowl game since 2013. Last season the Utes returned the favor with a convincing 42-16 victory in Salt Lake City, a game in which then-Beavs starting QB Chance Nolan got hurt and didn’t return the rest of the season.

Oregon State is currently a 2.5-point road favorite at Washington State with a total at 56, per Caesar’s. Utah is favored by 4.5 points at home to the Bruins; total at 51-1/2.

The other Week 5 Pac-12 games include:
