Maryland will take on #1 overall seed Alabama.

(5) San Diego State 63

The tournament may have it’s best ending in the 2nd game of the day.

(7) Missouri 76

(10) Utah State 65

The Mountain West continues it’s woes in the NCAA Tournament

The Pac 12 conference tournament champions fall to the IVY league champions.  If you listened to the BFT.  John Canzano has been saying all year that Arizona is average.

East:

(1) Purdue 58

(16) Fairleigh Dickinson 63

(8) Memphis 65

A controversial call leads Penny Hardaway to throw his water bottle after the loss.

An unbelievable upset!  The first team to compete as a first four team as a #16 seed to beat a #1 seed.

(5) Duke 74

(12) Oral Roberts 51

Duke dominates Cinderella hopeful, Oral Roberts, from the tip

(4) Tennessee 58

Tennessee blew a big lead in this one but hung on at the end.  Do they have enough fire power to take down the hot Blue Devils?

Head coach, Shaka Smart, has the Golden Eagles looking good and threating to make a deep run

Midwest:

(1) Houston 63

(16) Northern Kentucky 52

Star, Marcus Sasser, played but wasn’t super effective.  Was this a one off game?  Or is there something wrong with the Cougars?

In front of a big Auburn crowd in Alabama.  Auburn beats Iowa.

(5) Miami 63

(12) Drake 56

Trayce Jackson-Davis with 24/11/5 and 0 fouls and the Hoosiers dominate Kent State

(11) Pitt 59

In what could be the most boring game of the tournament.  Pitt wins after Iowa State shoots 23.3% from the field.

(3) Xavier 72

(14) Kennesaw State 67

The Owls blow a double digit 2nd half lead and Xavier survives the first round

(7) Texas A&M 59

(10) Penn State 76

Penn State dominated this one.  Maybe A&M was properly rated unlike what everyone said

(2) Texas 81

(15) Colgate 61

Colgate played Texas tough for most of the game.  But the Longhorns dominate the last 5 minutes and win by 20.

West:

(1) Kansas 96

(11) Arizona State 70

JaKobe Coles with the GW shot for TCU!

(3) Gonzaga 82

(14) Grand Canyon 70

GCU made it a game in the first half, but the Zags buckle down and dominate the Antelopes in the 2nd half

(7) Northwestern 75

(10) Boise State 67

In a very strange game where Boise State never led.  The Big 10 gets a team to the 2nd round.

(2) UCLA 86

(15) UNC Asheville 53

A dominating performance out of UCLA.  And a nice win for the Pac 12 after Arizona lost to a 15 seed
