Lowe earned widespread recognition in 2019 for his heroics in diverting a potential school shooting at Parkrose High School, disarming a student and acting with courage and class. He helped Parkrose football earn its first state playoff win in program history that year, the most successful season ever for the Broncos.
Lowe left the program at Parkrose to take the head coaching role at West Linn high school in January 2020, but later left for UCLA’s staff in June.
Keanon Lowe will serve as an offensive analyst for the Huskers. He spent last season at UCLA and played for Scott Frost and Nebraska OC Matt Lubick as a standout receiver at Oregon. Frost said Lowe is “a rising star in the coaching profession.”
