The Ivy League announced that they will be cancelling both the men’s and women’s conference tournaments in response to the coronavirus.
The decision by the @IvyLeague to cancel their men’s and women’s tournaments this weekend means the regular-season champs @YaleMBasketball and @PrincetonWBB will earn the automatic qualifying bids to the respective NCAA tournaments.

The decision came Tuesday, just four days before the start of the men’s tournament and three days before the start of the women’s tournament. This marks the first postseason basketball tournament to be cancelled because of the on-going coronavirus outbreak.
