Damian Lillard Cannot Win a Championship Staying in Portland, Says Stephen A Smith

On Tuesday’s ‘First Take’, Stephen A Smith addressed his concerns and doubt in Damian Lillard ever winning a championship if he stays in Portland.

When asked what it would take for Dame to win a championship, Stephen A’s answer was simply, “leave Portland”. He went on to fantasize about what a guy like Lillard would be able to accomplish on the same team as LeBron and AD in Los Angeles.
Overall, his belief is that the Blazers will never have the “assets” to win a championship in Portland if they continue to hold onto both Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum.
