Carson Wentz Announced Starting QB For Commanders Against The Browns

With the playoffs on the line.  The Commanders are turning to former quarterback, Carson Wentz, to start their week 17 game against the Browns.  Taylor Heinicke had been the Commanders starting quarterback for 9 games leading Washington to a 5-3-1 record but is coming off of a loss to the 49ers where he went 13-18 for 166 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.  The Commanders are a 1/2 game up on the Seahawks, Packers, and Lions for that final playoff spot.

Wentz has been 2-4 as a starting quarterback this season throwing for 1612 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions.  He hasn’t started a game since week 6 when the Commanders beat the Chicago Bears
