Blazers G League Rip City Remix Announces Open Tryouts For $300

For fans who always knew, deep down, they have what it takes to make it to the pros, the Trail Blazers G League affiliate wants to make dreams come true.

Rip City Remix will hold a one-day tryout on Sept. 16th for fans of all shapes and sizes to try out to make the team. The event will take place at the Trail Blazers practice facility in Tualatin.

Pre-registration is required, along with a $300 non-refundable registration fee online through the team’s ticket partner, Tixr.

PORTLAND, Ore. (August 8, 2023) – Aspiring basketball players have an opportunity to try out for the Rip City Remix, the G League affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers. The one-day open tryout will be held on September 16 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Blazers Training Facility located at 7325 SW Childs Rd, Portland, OR 97224.

On the day of the event, participant check-in will take place from 10:15 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. The open tryout will allow participants to showcase their skills in front of the Rip City Remix’s basketball operations personnel to earn an invite to the Rip City Remix’s training camp in late October.

To attend, athletes must pre-register and pay their non-refundable $300 fee online through Rip City Remix’s official ticketing partner, Tixr. Registration is limited to the first 60 individuals and no advance registration via phone call or walk-in will be accepted. The tryout is only open to prospective players and will be closed to the public. Attendees can register here.

The Rip City Remix, the official NBA G League Affiliate of the Portland Trail Blazers, are entering their inaugural season. Beginning in November, the team will play 24 home games at the Chiles Center at the University of Portland.
