2021 Four-Star WR Dont’e Thornton Commits to Oregon

The Oregon Ducks continue to rack up big talent for the 2021 football season. Mount Saint Joseph (Maryland) wide receiver Dont’e Thornton gave his verbal commitment Tuesday to Oregon on Instagram.

Thornton is the 23rd overall commit and the fourth receiver for the Ducks in 2021. He also becomes the 15th four-star recruit in Oregon’s 2021 class, according to both Rivals.com and 247Sports.

The Ducks snagged Thornton away from some big name schools.

He collected offers from Ohio State, Florida, Auburn, Penn State, Wisconsin, LSU, Michigan and Notre Dame among others. Thornton also got some other Pac-12 attention, including Arizona State, Colorado, USC and Washington State.

Rivals and 247Sports rank the Ducks 2021 class No. 3 in the nation and No. 1 in the Pac-12.
