John Canzano explains why Jonathan Smith may have felt some buyer’s remorse at Michigan State when the Washington Huskies job became available following Kalen DeBoer’s departure to Alabama. Canzano says the UW job made a lot more sense for Smith who was angling his way out of Corvallis amid an uncertain future for the program, but wasn’t patient enough to find a more suitable next step. Instead, the Huskies since have turned to luring Jedd Fisch from Arizona to replace DeBoer.
