Trail Blazers Put Away Pistons 118-103

Enes Kanter had himself a game Saturday night.

The Portland Trail Blazers rode Kanter’s second 20/20 game of the season to a 118-103 win over the short-handed Detroit Pistons. With Jusuf Nurkic out due to injury management, Kanter rode roughshod all over the undersized Pistons, setting a Trail Blazers record with 30 rebounds (including a team-record 12 offensive) to go along with his 24 points.

The game was relatively tight in the first half before Portland turned on the jets in the 3rd quarter. The Trail Blazers’ guards rebounded from their poor shooting night against Utah, with Damian Lillard scoring a game-high 27 and CJ McCollum dropping 26.

Notably, Nassir Little got some extra minutes, seeing time at the shooting guard. He played 24 minutes and scored 11 points on a 5/5 shooting night. Newly acquired defensive specialist Rondae Hollis-Jefferson made his Trail Blazers debut and scored 1 point.

Up next for Portland, they host the 27-25 Miami Heat on Sunday.
