Trail Blazers Keep Rolling, Top Rockets 140-129

The Portland Trail Blazers kept the good times rolling at Moda Center on Monday night, beating the Houston Rockets 140-129. The win was Portland’s fourth in a row and eighth in their last nine tries.
Portland got off to the races with a franchise-record 50 point first quarter behind 12-16 from beyond the 3-point line. CJ McCollum had 21 in the first quarter en route to 28, the first of three Trail Blazers guards with 20 or more on the night (Lillard – 34, Powell- 28). Jusuf Nurkic continued his effective play, scoring 22 points to go with six rebounds, five assists, three steals, and a block.

Nassir Little left the game in the 3rd quarter with back tightness, he did not return.
