Trail Blazers drop 4th straight, fall 109-106 to Orlando

The Trail Blazers’ long homestand didn’t get off to a good start on Tuesday night.

Kicking off a stretch where they play 10 of 11 at Moda Center, the Trail Blazers went ice-cold from the 3-point line and fell 109-106 to the Orlando Magic. Continuing a worrying trend, Portland got out of the gate slowly, trailing 23-8 in the first quarter before rallying back.

The Trail Blazers had a chance to tie the game on the final possession, but missed three looks from the 3-point line – capping their night a 6/35 from beyond the arc.

Portland has now fallen to 19-21 on the season, currently out of the playoff or play in scenarios. Up next, the Trail Blazers take on the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.
