Timbers Fall 4-1 at FC Dallas

The Portland Timbers had a rough go of it Saturday night, falling to FC Dallas by a score of 4-1.
With 18 year old Hunter Sulte making his Timbers debut on goal, FC Dallas’ Andrés Ricaurte left footed a shot from the center of the box to the bottom right corner. Just minutes later, Jáder Obrian right footed a strike from the center of the box to the dead center of the goal. He was assisted by Phelipe following a fast break. Bressan added a goal late in the first half to put the Timbers in a 3-0 first half hole.
After some substitutions, the Timbers came alive a bit; getting several good looks off consecutive free kicks served up by Diego Valeri. Portland eventually found the back of the net in the 62′ minute when Eryk Williamson right footed a pass from Valeri from the middle of the box:
But ultimately, the Timbers were thoroughly outplayed, falling by a final score of 4-1.
