Scoot Henderson And Shaedon Sharpe To Star In Rising Stars Game

The Trail Blazers record isn’t very good as expected. But there are always positives you can take away from a bad season. One of those positives was just announced as rookie Scoot Henderson and second year player Shaedon Sharpe will be participating in the Rising Stars game at All Star Weekend.

Scoot Henderson will be playing in his third Rising Stars game as he played in the past two as a member of the G League Ignite. Henderson has played much better lately after a slow start to his rookie season. Henderson is averaging 12.2 points and 4.6 assists per game.

Last year there were some Blazers fans who felt Shaedon Sharpe got snubbed from the Rising Stars game, but that won’t be the case this season. Sharpe has missed the past 10 games with a thigh injury, but he will be at All Star Weekend. For the season, Sharpe is averaging 15.9 points and 5 rebounds per game.
