Report: Clippers’ Lou Williams Must Quarantine for 10 Days After Picking up Food at Atlanta Gentleman’s Club
Yes, you read that headline correctly.
LA Clippers sixth man Lou Williams will have a 10-day quarantine inside the NBA’s Orlando bubble after he picked up food at Magic City, a gentleman’s club in Atlanta, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Clippers’ Lou Williams will have 10-day quarantine on Orlando campus after picking up food at Magic City on excused absence — sidelining him through first two seeding games — NBA says.

When reports of Williams’ trip to Magic City were first being reported on Friday, he took to Twitter.
Ask any of my teammates what’s my favorite restaurant in Atlanta is. Ain’t nobody partying. Chill out lol #Maskon #inandout

ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne and Bobby Marks were all over the initial reporting of Williams activities outside the bubble.
Sources told ESPN that Williams has been interviewed by NBA security about his whereabouts while he was away from campus, and told them he did go to the Magic City gentleman’s club for a short time on Thursday night

Marks broke down what different quarantine lengths would mean for Williams’ bank account before Charania’s tweet on Sunday.
A 10-day quarantine would see Lou Williams miss 2 seeding games and forfeit up to $150K in salary. A four-day quarantine would have Williams back on the court by the July 30 first game.

Williams will miss a scrimmage against Sacramento on Monday. Then, he’ll miss two of the Clippers eight seeding games, Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers and Saturday (Aug. 1) against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Sitting at No. 2 in the West, the Clippers don’t have much chance to catch the Lakers at 5.5 games back in just eight games. However, LA is just 1.5 games ahead of No. 3 Denver and three games ahead of No. 4 Utah.
