The Trail Blazers played the Oklahoma City Thunder tough on Tuesday night in OKC. But the NBA is always about drama, and the Trail Blazers were right in the middle of it.
With 15 seconds left in the game and the Blazers up one Malcom Brogdon got called for a double dribble giving the Thunder the basketball. Head coach Chauncey Billups claimed he was calling timeout from the sidelines and the refs didn’t hear. Billups started arguing with the referees and ended up getting two technical fouls and was kicked out of the game. The Thunder made a free throw to tie the game and the Jalen Williams made a game winning jump shot to give the Thunder a 111-109 victory.
The internet had a ton of reactions to the controversial call and ejection.
