Oregon State Star Running Back Damien Martinez Intends To Enter Transfer Portal

It’s the news that Beavers fans didn’t want to hear. According to Jake Hedberg at BeaverBlitz that star running back Damien Martinez intends to enter the transfer portal when it opens next week.

Martinez has been great for Oregon State in his first two years in Corvallis. Rushing for 2,167 yards and 16 touchdowns in his career.

OSU now only has three scholarship backs on campus for Spring Ball, as Jam Griffin, Anthony Hankerson and Isaiah Newell remain. A huge loss for the Beavers as we are heading into the Oregon State Spring game on April 20.
