Oregon State Guard Justin Rochelin Enters Transfer Portal

Oregon State basketball is entering the West Coast Conference next season. And while it seems Wayne Tinkle will be the coach next season, he has 3 years left with an $11.9 million buyout. The roster is another question.

The first domino has happened as Oregon State guard Justin Rochelin has entered the transfer portal. A former three star prospect out of high school, Rochelin started his career at Arizona State where he redshirted. Then he transferred to Oregon State for the past two seasons. He was limited to only 10 games his first season because of injuries. But this past season Rochelin played in 27 games including two starts. Rochelin averaged 2.1 point and 1.7 rebounds.

It will be a forgettable career for Rocheilin at Oregon State. But it’s another example of Tinkle not hitting in the transfer portal. Now the big decision is going to come to Sophomores Tyler Bilodeau and Jordan Pope and can Tinkle keep the talented two in Corvallis with the move to the West Coast Conference,
