Oregon State DB Jaydon Grant Staying in Corvallis for 2022 Season

Oregon State DB Jaydon Grant is returning to Oregon State Football for his final season of NCAA eligibility. Grant, who has been in Corvallis since 2016, coming back to the Beaver defense is a massive keepsake for first-year Defensive Coordinator Trent Bray.

2022 will be Grant’s seventh season within the Oregon State program. Student-athletes get five years of NCAA eligibility but since Grant redshirted his Freshman season and eligibility didn’t count during the truncated 2020 season due to COVID, he can return in 2022.

In 44 career games in the orange and black, Grant has compiled 151 tackles, six interceptions, and 19 pass breakups.

With Grant leading the secondary, Oregon State opens the 2022 season on September 3rd hosting Boise State.
