Oregon Set To Hire UTSA’s Will Stein To Be Next Offensive Coordinator

After the departure of Kenny Dillingham to Arizona State, the Oregon Ducks were in need of a new offensive coordinator.  And it looks like that man is going to be 33 year old Will Stein, who was most recently at UTSA.  Stein has been at UTSA since 2019 where he went from passing game coordinator to co-offensive coordinator in 2022.  UTSA finished #9 in total offense in the FBS a season ago averaging 486.1 yards per game.

Stein began his coaching career in 2013 at Louisville, where he played his college ball as a quarterback for the Cardinals.  He then followed Charlie Strong to Texas.  Then he became the quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator of Lake Travis High School before he landed at UTSA.
