Oregon forward Grace VanSlooten Wins 2nd Pac 12 Freshman Of The Week Award

Oregon forward Grace VanSlooten, who averaged 19.5 points on 64 percent shooting in the Ducks’ 2-0 week, collected her second Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award Monday.  She scored a career high 26 points against Eastern Washington in the Ducks 88-38 victory on Thursday.  Her 26 points were the most by an Oregon freshman since Jaz Shelley’s 32 points against UC Riverside in 2019.  VanSlooten is currently one of only two freshmen in the country averaging at least 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists a game.  The Ducks take on #17 Arkansas on Tuesday and then either #3 Ohio State or USF on Wednesday.
