A pair of four-star receivers flipped their commitments to the Oregon Ducks on Wednesday’s early signing day, helping vault Dan Lanning’s 2024 class near the top-5 nationally, per multiple recruiting outlets.
247 Sports composite rankings gave Oregon a score of 290.33 total points, which was more than the previous best recruiting score achieved by Mario Cristobal’s 2021 class at 287.67 points.
Jeremiah McClellan from St. Louis, Mo., flipped from Ohio State to Oregon on Wednesday, as did Ryan Pellum, a fellow four-star receiver from Long Beach, Calif. who originally was committed to USC.
The Ducks also signed previous five-star commits on defense in defensive lineman Aydin Breland from Mater Dei HS in California, and Elijah Rushing, an EDGE prospect from Tucson, Ariz., who decommitted from Arizona earlier in the season.
