No. 19 USC Thumps Oregon Behind Monster First Half; Snaps Ducks 5-Game Win Streak

Oregon faced their first ranked opponent on Tuesday night, and the Ducks just did not show up.

No. 19 USC led 17-1 and 30-9 during the first half. Oregon trailed 43-22 at the break.

The Ducks trimmed the Trojans lead to 10 (66-56) with just under five minutes to go, but Oregon only scored two points the rest of the game.

USC held Oregon to 0-6 shooting and a turnover in the final minutes to end the game. The Ducks only points came on a pair of Eugene Omoruyi free throws.

USC won 72-58.

Oregon (14-5, 9-4 Pac-12) had three players score in double digits, LJ Figueroa (14 points), Eric Williams Jr. (14 points) and Chris Duarte (11 points).

The Trojans (19-4, 13-3 Pac-12) also had three double figure scorers, Tahj Eaddy (24 points), Drew Peterson (15 points) and Evan Mobley (11 points).
