Nets Assistant Mike D’Antoni Interviewing with Trail Blazers, Per Wojnarowski

The Portland Trail Blazers coaching search is officially underway on Monday, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

If you’re asking yourself, “Aren’t the Brooklyn Nets still playing in the postseason?” The answer is yes, however, Monday is an off day for Brooklyn. The Nets play Game 5 against Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Also, Neil Olshey, Portland’s President of Basketball Operations, said the first round of interviews would likely be done remotely, so it’s safe to assume this is not an in-person interview.

As noted by Woj, the Trail Blazers are also expected to interview Clippers assistant Chauncey Billups and Spurs assistant Becky Hammon some time “early this week”.
