Kalen DeBoer Is The New Head Football Coach At Alabama

After a magical season at Washington. Kalen DoBoer is heading to Tuscaloosa to become the next Alabama head coach.

DeBoer led the Huskies to a 14-1 record with the only loss in the national championship game against Michigan. DeBoer has been excellent in his two seasons at Washington. Leading the Huskies to a 25-3 record in that time and for his career, including his time at NAIA Sioux Falls, DeBoer has accumulated a 104-12 head coaching record.

It will be a tough job replacing legendary coach Nick Saban who announced his retirement on Wednesday. Saban won seven national championships in his career including six at Alabama.

Washington is the latest school to be in the coaching carousel in an offseason full of surprises.
