JJ Watt Signing with the Arizona Cardinals

Green Bay Packers? Nope. Buffalo Bills? No. Joining his brothers in Pittsburgh? Pass. Tons of speculation, but former Houston Texans star JJ Watt is heading to the NFC West.
He is signing with the Arizona Cardinals, per himself actually.

The contract is a two-year deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Cardinals are giving J.J. Watt a two-year, $31 million deal that includes $23 million guaranteed, per source.

Watt was released earlier this month after a meeting with Texans ownership. His former teammate, wide receiver Deandre Hopkins, posted a photo on Instagram with the caption “Let’s finish what we started…”
Many perceived the post as a recruiting message. However, given Watt’s photo above, maybe Hopkins already knew where Watt was going.

Watt is a three-time AP Defensive Player of the Year (2012, 2014, 2015), and he was the 2017 NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year.
