Final AP Poll Released, 6 Pac 12 Teams In Top 25
After Georgia demolished TCU in the National Championship, the last thing that was needed to put a bow on the college football season is the final AP Poll of the season. The Pac 12 had a nice bounce back season ends up with 6 teams in the top 25. But the order seems a little weird for the 2 teams in Oregon. Oregon finishes the season #15 after their win over North Carolina 28-27 in the Holiday Bowl. Oregon State finishes #17 after their 30-3 win over Florida in the Vegas Bowl. And both schools had the exact same 10-3 record. After the Beavers win over the Ducks in the Rivalry game the Beavers were #16. And now they have fallen a spot even though their only game played was a dominating win over an SEC team.
The rest of the Pac 12 ranked teams looked like this. Washington was the highest ranked Pac 12 team finishing the poll at #8 after their win over Texas. Utah is in the poll at #10 and with Cam Rising returning look like they could be around their to open next season. USC lost to Tulane but end the season at #12. A good first season for Lincoln Riley. And UCLA, after losing to Pitt in the Sun Bowl finish the season at #21
