Ducks, Beavs Each Get Four Players Picked to All-Pac-12 Conference Teams
The Ducks won the conference and the Beavs beat them head-to-head on the field. However, both teams got the same number of players between the two Pac-12’s All-Conference teams.
On the All-Pac-12 First Team, Oregon State had three players including juniors running back Jermar Jefferson and linebacker Avery Roberts, and senior O-lineman Nathan Eldridge.
Oregon, on the other hand, had two first teamers, both sophomores, D-lineman Kayvon Thibodeaux and defensive back Mykael Wright.
On the All-Pac-12 Second Team, the Ducks saw two players named, including junior O-lineman Alex Forsyth and senior defensive back Deommodore Lenoir.
The Beavs only had one All-Pac-12 second team member, freshman O-lineman Joshua Gray.
Also, both teams had a ton of honorable mentions.
OREGON:
- Freshman LB Noah Sewell
- Sophomore DB Jamal Hill
- Junior OL Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu
- Jr. OL T.J. Bass
- Jr. RB Travis Dye
- Jr. LB Isaac Slade-Matautia
- Senior DL Austin Faoliu
- Sr. WR Johnny Johnson III
OREGON STATE:
- Sophomore All-Purpose/Special Teams Jesiah Irish
- Soph. LB Omar Speights
- Junior Return Specialist Champ Flemings
- Jr. DB Jaydon Grant
- Jr. DL Isaac Hodgins
- Jr. TE Teagan Quitoriano
- Jr. DL Simon Sandberg
- Jr. DB Nahshon Wright
- Senior OL Nous Keobounnam
- Redshirt Senior LB Hamilcar Rashed Jr.
Quarterback QB Tyler Shough is noticeably absent from the Oregon honorable mentions list — along with the all-conference first or second team lists — which Jon Wilner of the Mercury News took exception to on Twitter.
#GoDucks Tyler Shough has the highest passing efficiency rating and the highest yds/attempt average in the Pac-12.
He wasn’t even named Honorable Mention all-conference. But UW’s Dylan Morris (4 TDs, 3 INTs) was named HM
