Diego Valeri Named MLS Player of the Week After Dominant Performance vs. San Jose
The Portland Timbers smoked San Jose, 6-1, on Saturday, and Diego Valeri was a huge part of the win.
Valeri scored twice and assisted on a third goal, meaning he was at least partially responsible for half of the Timbers scoring output.
Valeri definitely earned the MLS Player of the Week award.
