Another season of Damian Lillard’s prime has come and gone.

Put it in the books.

Season. Over.

Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report tweeted Tuesday afternoon that the Trail Blazers will sit Lillard the final seven games of the regular season.

Lillard played in 58 games this season after missing 12 games early in the year. He last played March 22nd in a 127-115 win at Utah.

He averaged a career high 32.2 points per game this season.

Portland is 32-43, five games behind the ten-seed Oklahoma City Thunder. They have the third-worst record in the Western Conference, and tied with the Orlando Magic for the fifth-worst record in the league.

The Blazers have back to back home games upcoming against Sacramento before embarking on their final road trip of the season that will see them go through Minnesota, Memphis, San Antonio and the LA Clippers before the regular season finale on April 9th vs Golden State.
