Caleb Williams Comes Away With Heisman Trophy

USC had a great season under first year head coach Lincon Riley, and it was recognized as quarterback Caleb Williams won the Heisman Trophy.  Williams received 544 first-place votes. His 2,031 points easily beat out TCU’s Max Duggan, who finished second.  Ohio State’s CJ Stroud finished 3rd and Georgia’s Stetson Bennett finished 4th.  Williams transferred to USC from Oklahoma once his coach Lincoln Riley was announced as the Trojans new coach.  Williams threw for 4,075 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions while rushing for 372 yards and 10 touchdowns.  USC had a chance to make the CFP but lost to Utah in the Pac 12 Championship game. And now USC takes on Tulane in the Cotton Bowl.
