The New England Patriots have released Antonio Brown.

In a statement, the Patriots said: “We feel it is best to move in a different direction at this time.”

Brown reportedly sent threatening text messages to another one of his alleged victims of sexual violence this week after she came forward to Sports Illustrated detailing 2017 incident.

Antonio Brown took to Twitter to say thank you to the Pats.

Brown will likely see none of the $9 million singing bonus he signed.
