Women’s Basketball Coach Kelly Graves Agrees to Contract Extension with Oregon

The University of Oregon and head women’s basketball coach Kelly Graves agreed to a contract extension that keeps Graves with the Ducks through the 2028-29 season, Athletic Director Rob Mullens announced on Wednesday.

“The incremental increases are funded through private athletic funds,” the press release noted.

Graves is in his seventh season with Oregon, which the Ducks have started 7-0 overall and 5-0 in Pac-12 play. So far, he has a 162-54 (.750) record, which gives him the second-most wins in Oregon history.

In the last three years, Graves and the Ducks won the Pac-12 regular season each year and the Pac-12 tournament twice.

Also, Oregon advanced to three straight Elite Eight appearances under Graves. During the 2018-19 season, the Ducks reached their first women’s Final Four in school history.

The last two seasons, Graves won the John R. Wooden Pac-12 Coach of the Year award.

If it wasn’t already evident, the future of Oregon women’s basketball remains bright with Graves at the helm.
