In a statement made Wednesday by the All England Club, the Wimbledon Championships have officially been cancelled.
It is with great regret that the AELTC has today decided that The Championships 2020 will be cancelled due to public health concerns linked to the coronavirus epidemic.

This is the first time that Wimbledon has been cancelled since World War II in 1945. In addition, there was a joint announcement made by the ATP and WTA that all events at all levels of both professional tours have been cancelled through July 13th (covering the entire grass-court season).
