Washington Keeps Football Activities on Pause for Second Straight Day, Oregon-Washington Game in Jeopardy

The University of Washington announced Thursday morning that they are continuing to pause football-related activities and will not practice for a second day in a row, due to the rising of positive COVID-19 cases within the program.
UW Athletics announces it will continue its pause of all football-related activities today and will not practice. Nothing definite on the Oregon game, but that’s obviously trending the wrong way.

The game between Oregon and Washington scheduled for this Saturday remains in jeopardy. There is a real possibility that the Pac-12 North may be decided without a game being played.
Here was Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal sharing his thoughts on the situation on Wednesday:
“Only status of the game that I’m aware of is this game is scheduled for Saturday”
