The Mariners and Twins clubbed eight total home runs, four each.

Seattle scored all six runs off the long ball. Only Daniel Vogelbach’s 8th inning homer came with runners on base when the ball left the park.

The Twins four dingers gave Minnesota seven runs. Two other Minnesota runs were assisted with two Mariner errors.

To say Thursday was a tough night for Seattle starter Erik Swanson would be an understatement.

Swanson was lit up, 9 hits, 8 ER, 3 K. He gave up all four Minnesota home runs.

Winning Pitcher, (3-3) Michael Pineda: 7.0 IP, 3 ER, 6 K, 0 BB
