Tristan Gebbia to have Surgery, Out for Remainder of 2020 Season

By: Matthew Zimmer

With only two regular season games left (and maybe a bowl game), it seemed like a foregone conclusion, but on Monday Tristan Gebbia’s season officially ended.

Oregon State head coach Jonathan Smith announced Gebbia will have surgery this week and miss the rest of the year.

Smith told our own John Canzano last week it was a possibility Gebbia could miss the rest of 2020.

The redshirt junior quarterback started in the Beavs first four games. He finishes 2020 with 824 passing yards on 80/129 passing with three touchdowns and three interceptions.

Gebbia and the Beavs started 0-2, before Oregon State beat Cal and Oregon in back-to-back weeks. Of course, Gebbia was hurt during the win against the Ducks.
