Trail Blazers Unveil ‘Earned’ Uniforms

The Portland Trail Blazers are one of 16 teams that receive an Earned Edition Uniform because they reached the NBA Playoffs last season.

Nike designed the uniforms with inspiration from “Portland’s cityscape and familiar overcast weather.” Also, Damian Lillard provided influence, according to the team’s press release.

The gray-tones are a flip of the team’s iconic uniforms.

As you can see above, there are silver outlines throughout the design (the Nike Swoosh, the jocktag on the bottom right, and the NBA logo on the back) are also a nod to the 2019-20 NBA Playoffs.

On the shorts, there is a silver Nike swoosh and silver-outlined NBA Logo, which are both gold for the NBA Champion LA Lakers.

The Trail Blazers will wear the uniforms in their first game back from the All-Star Break on Thursday night against the Phoenix Suns.

Fans can pick up the uniforms starting on March 18 at the Rip City Clothing Co. at Moda Center. If you plan on going in person, you must wear a mask and make an appointment. Also, you can only pay with either a debit or credit card.

If you want to set up an in-person appointment, visit this site.

However, if you’d like to buy online, you can at ripcityclothing.co once the uniforms are available.
