Trail Blazers top T-Wolves 124-118

Defense was optional at for the first half of play at Moda Center on Saturday night, but the Trail Blazers clamped down late to get the 124-118 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

After scoring 40 against Denver in the team’s previous game, Damian Lillard led the way with 36 points for Portland. Anfernee Simons had 31, including 5/10 from the 3-point line

The Timberwolves had a a trio of players top 20 points against a soft Trail Blazers defense; Anthony Edwards scored 26, while Rudy Gobert and D’Angelo Russell had 24 apiece.

The Trail Blazers are now 14-12 on the season, and move to .500 at home with the win.

Up next for the Trail Blazers, they take on the Timberwolves again from Moda Center on Monday.
