Trail Blazers top Spurs 147-127

The Trail Blazers needed the offense to get right, and boy did it ever.

After a tight first half, Portland erupted for 45 points against the Spurs in the third quarter and ended up playing the deep bench down the stretch of an easy win.

Damian Lillard led the way with 37 points. Anfernee Simons had 26. Jusuf Nurkic took advantage of a clear team-wide effort to get him the ball with 25 points. Off the bench, rookie Shaedon Sharpe chipped in 19 points, and Nassir Little had 10, giving him double-digit scoring in four of the five games since he returned from his hip injury.

Up next for Portland – a chance to put together a two-game win streak – hosting the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night.
