Free-agent guard Quinn Cook is signing a non-guaranteed deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Shams Charania of the Athletic:
Cook will be joining his sixth NBA team after spending last year with the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers. He has also played for the Mavericks, Pelicans and Warriors He won a title with Golden State in 2018 and L.A. in 2020.
Cook averaged 6.1 points and 1.9 assists in seven games with the Cavaliers last season. His best season came in 2017-18, when he started 18 of 33 games for Golden State and averaged 9.5 points and 2.7 assists.
