TRAIL BLAZERS SIGN THREE PLAYERS, ANNOUNCE TRAINING CAMP ROSTER
Portland tips-off its 50th Training Camp, presented by Biofreeze, with Media Day on
Monday, Sept. 30

PORTLAND, Ore. (Sept. 12, 2019) – The Portland Trail Blazers have signed center Moses Brown, guard Troy Caupain and guard London Perrantes to training camp contracts, it was announced today by president of basketball operations Neil Olshey.

Portland will tip-off its 50th Training Camp, presented by Biofreeze, with Media Day on Monday, Sept. 30, followed by the team’s first practice on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Brown, 19, played in 32 games (31 starts) his freshman 2018-19 season at UCLA, posting averages of 9.7 points (60.7% FG, 35.2% FT), 8.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 1.94 blocks. Undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft, Brown (7-1, 245) was a 2018 McDonald’s All-American out of Archbishop Malloy High School in Queens, N.Y.

Caupain, 23, appeared in four games for the Orlando Magic in 2018-19 as a two-way contract player, netting 10 points, three rebounds, four assists and a steal in 16 total minutes. In 49 games (all starts) for the G League’s Lakeland Magic, Caupain (6-4, 210) averaged 16.4 points (47.9% FG, 38.6% 3-PT, 77.9% FT), 5.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists. Caupain went undrafted in 2017 out of Cincinnati.

Perrantes, 24, played in 2018-19 for Limoges CSP and Cholet Basket in the French Pro A League. After going undrafted out of Virginia, Perrantes (6-2, 200) signed a two-way contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 2017-18 season, appearing in 14 games for the Cavaliers and tallying seven points, four rebounds, five assists, two steals and a blocked shot in 66 minutes. He averaged 11.8 points (37.8% FG, 30.7% 3-PT, 83.5% FT), 3.4 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.17 steals in 35 games (all starts) that season with the G League’s Canton Charge.
