Trail Blazers make moves ahead of trade deadline
The Portland Trail Blazers have been active since Wednesday night.
First, just minutes before the team was set to tip off against the Warriors, Josh Hart was pulled off the floor and informed that he had been traded to the New York Knicks in exchange for Cam Reddish, Ryan Arcidiacono, Svi Mykhailiuk, and a protected 2023 first round pick. If the Knicks fail to reach the playoffs, the pick becomes four second-round picks.
Svi Mykhailiuk isn’t sticking around, however. He is being routed to Charlotte in a three-way deal that sends Jalen McDaniels to Philadelphia and standout defender Matisse Thybulle to Portland.
